LIPOPP architecture and sculpture is a cooperation of the chinese architect li xiaotian and and the
german sculptor christof popp.

since the year 2000 they are collaborating on projects in public places. from the results of the last
few years you can easily see that they do not regard architecture and art as separate disciplines
any longer. they understand constructing as art itself.

in comparison to conventional offices of architects the process of planning does not only take place
in the office - at the drawing desk or in the computer. the art studio becomes an equally important
place for designing. here you find an opening towards the planning processes through genuine art
methods. remarkable are the forms of experimental designing. already when developing concepts
the experiences of the sculptor in concretely dealing with materials play an important role.

in this way works are products that are architecture and art at the same time.
